Family Premium features:
- Individual Premium for all guests: All guests will receive the Individual Premium subscription with all its associated benefits.
- Livestream for guests: Guests can receive access to your feeder's live stream. You can manage which guests have access within the feeder's settings.
- Family interactions: Everyone who is part of the feeder family can see other member's interactions with a postcard.
Livestream for Guests
All users have the ability to request access to the live stream of their Guest feeders by pressing the Request live stream access in the Settings () section.
When your feeder guests request access to the live stream, you'll receive a notification (if you have them turned on). You can then grant or decline access by pressing the Bell icon () in the Home feed (
).
You can remove a guest's live stream access at any time by accessing the feeder settings (click on Settings (), your feeder's name, and scrolling to the Manage guests section. You can allow live stream access by pressing the slider button:
Note: If a user would like to access the live stream of a feeder from their Guest feeder list, they can only gain access if the owner of the feeder has a Family Premium subscription and the owner grants them permission.
Family Interactions
Guests and owners of a shared bird feeder can view each other's reactions on postcards. This feature adds a layer of connection, allowing everyone to engage with memorable bird sightings together.
Reactions from other members who interacted with a postcard will appear at the bottom of the postcard.
How to Upgrade
To upgrade to the Bird Buddy Family Premium Subscription, open the Settings () section and scroll down to Premium Experience. Click the Upgrade button in the Details section and confirm by clicking Upgrade your plan.
Once upgraded, you’ll be able to extend the Individual Premium subscription to your guests and take the shared birdwatching experience to a new level.
