If your membership payment failed or you need to switch to a new payment method, you can update your payment details at any time through your Birdbuddy account.
How to Update Your Payment Method
- Log in to your Birdbuddy account on our website: US store / EU store.
- In the left-hand menu, select Payment Methods.
- Click Add payment method.
- Enter your new card details and save.
- Click Make default for your new method.
- Remove outdated or incorrect cards by clicking Delete Card.
What Happens After You Update a Payment Method?
If a membership charge previously failed, our system will automatically reattempt the payment every 12 hours, up to 5 total attempts.
Once a retry succeeds, your membership will reactivate automatically; no additional steps required.

If Your Membership Doesn’t Reactivate
If the charge still doesn’t go through after all retry attempts, or you’re unsure whether the update worked, please start a chat in the bottom right corner on our website, or in the app in the Help&Support section.
