While we’d be sad to see you go, the process of deleting your Birdbuddy account from within the Birdbuddy app is very easy.
- Open the Birdbuddy app and go to Settings (press the gear icon in the top right corner
).
- Click on Account Settings.
- At the bottom of the screen, tap Delete account.

You'll see a concession of screens checking if you're perhaps having issues with your feeder or want to give the Birdbuddy to someone else. In those cases, account deletion isn't necessary! More information in this article.
You can continue if neither of those is the case. - Keep in mind that deleting your account means that you will lose all your data, including all the unlocked species in your Collections and all photos of your feathered friends. Deleting your account will also automatically unpair all your Birdbuddy feeders.
- If you’re absolutely sure you want to delete your account, select “Yes, delete my account.” You will see a message confirming that the account deletion is in progress, and you'll be redirected back to the entry screen.
