Was the bird misidentified by either you or our AI model? If the incorrect species was saved by mistake, you can easily correct it.
In the Birdbuddy App, click on the Collections screen.
- On the Collection screen, ensure you are in the Collected section (opens by default), and press the gallery of the bird species misidentified (for example, European Robin).
- Once in the correct gallery, select the photo/video incorrectly labeled, and tap it once to open. Then, tap the three small dots in the top right corner of the screen.
- Select "Wrong bird" and type in the correct species in the search bar. Once the correct species has been selected, confirm by pressing Add to collection.
If the wrong bird or a mystery visitor is the cover photo of a new collection and you’d like to delete it, re-classify the image into another already existing Collection, and the root category will disappear. You should be able to remove the photo from the new collection since it's not a cover photo anymore.
