Wrong bird: renaming mislabelled photos and videos

  • Updated

Did you or our AI model mislabel the bird? Did you save the wrong species by mistake? No problem! Open the bird pic you'd like to rename in the gallery, click on the three-dot icon in the top right corner, and then select the "Wrong bird?" option;

  1. On the Collections screen, select the profile of the Bird, which contains the gallery of the bird with the mislabeled photo or video.

  2. Open the Gallery by clicking on the green button. Make sure "Your Feeder"  (surrounded by a light grey oval.) is selected in the second line at the top once you’re in the gallery.

  3. Scroll down to select the incorrectly labeled photo, and tap it once to open. Then, tap the three small dots in the top right corner of the screen.

  4. In the dropdown menu that appears, select "Wrong Bird." Type in the correct name in the area that says "Search for a bird."

If the wrong bird or a mystery visitor is the cover photo of a new collection and you’d like to delete it, re-classify the image into another already existing Collection, and the root category will disappear. You should be able to remove the photo from the new collection since it's not a cover photo anymore.
