The Perch Extender is designed to fit between the universal pole mount and the housing, so you can still use the universal mount to fit Birdbuddy onto a pole or wall mount.
To attach the perch extender to the pole mount, use the longer screws: Stainless Steel Pan Head Phillips Screws, M4, coarse thread 0.7mm, 10mm.
To install the perch extender, first remove the clip-on perch on the Nook. Then, proceed with the installation by placing the pole mount into the opening of the perch extender base and using the screws to attach both to the feeder base.

Note: The original perch extender (sold for the Birdbuddy Pro) does not fit the Birdbuddy Nook! The Birdbuddy Nook comes with a redesigned perch extender, which fits the Birdbuddy Home as well as the Birdbuddy Pro (Smart bird feeder).
